4th Meeting of the Signatories of Pacific Islands Cetaceans MOU

The 4th Meeting of the Signatories to the Memorandum of Understanding for the Conservation of Cetaceans and their Habitats in the Pacific Islands Region (PIC MOS4), organised in cooperation with the SPREP Secretariat, will take place online on 5 and 6 August 2021 from 12:00 to 16:30 Western Samoa Time (UTC +13).

Registration: Signatories, Collaborating Organisations, non-signatory Range States and Territories, and observers should please register by 15 July 2021.  

Signatories: a Letter of Credentials is required from the Signatories, listing the composition of the delegation.  Please send through an electronic copy of the duly signed credentials to [email protected] by 30 July 2021

Observers: Non-Signatories to the MOU from the Pacific Islands Region, as well as organisations that are concerned with the conservation, protection and management of cetaceans in the Pacific Islands Region, are very welcome to attend the meeting as observers.  Please register by 15 July 2021.

Documents: Meeting documents will be posted on this page as they become available.  Signatories, Collaborating Organisations and Observers are welcome to suggest publication of information documents (such as reports and other papers) relevant to the agenda items, noting however that discussion time is very limited.  Any documents should be sent to [email protected] by 15 July 2021.
