The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia(Raptors MOU) and of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Sharks (Sharks MOU) is pleased to inform you that:

·        Madagascar signed the Sharks MOU on 15 November becoming the 47^th Signatory

·        Cote d’Ivoire signed both the Sharks and the Raptors MOU on 16 November, becoming the 48^th Signatory of the former and the 59^th Signatory of the latter

The signing ceremonies were held in the margins of the 23^rd Meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn.
