The Energy Task Force has held yearly meetings since 2016. At its Sixth meeting held 9th – 10th February, 2022, the ETF reviewed progress against the ETF workplan 2021-2024, new technical guidance and best practice from across the ETF network, and options to strengthen industry cooperation. Other most recent interim meetings have been held on  24th October 2022, 7th December 2022, and 21st February, 2023.

This interim meeting will provide an opportunity to hear updates from ETF Members and Observers from the year so far, with a key highlight including the launch of the Post-construction Bird and Bat Fatality Monitoring Handbook and Decision Support Tool. A series of draft strategic documents to guide the governance of the ETF have been developed for review, with a focus on sector engagement, expansion of membership and operations, communications, and a launch of a small grant fund. The meeting will also provide an update of the upcoming CMS COP14 and Seventh ETF meeting planning.
