The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia is pleased to inform you that:
The following additional countries signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation of Migratory Birds of Prey in Africa and Eurasia (Raptors MOU) at the CMS COP10 in Bergen, Norway:

The MOU has been in effect since 1 November 2008. For the new Signatories listed above the MOU entered into effect on 1 December 2011.
This brings the total number of Signatories to 38, as of 1 December 2011.
In addition, on 16 December 2011, the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey signed the MOU as a Co-operating Partner Organization. Together with BirdLife International and the CMS Secretariat, this brings the number of Co-operating Partner Organizations to three.
